Humanitarian and Health Field Operations
Communications, satellite connectivity, field technology, logistics, and technical support for humanitarian organizations operating in remote and infrastructure-limited environments. Communications and technical support for hospitals, radiological-material security initiatives, and other specialized programs where reliable infrastructure and disciplined implementation are critical.
Democracy, Governance, Education, Media
Communications and technology support for election monitoring, democracy and governance programs, customs and border-control development, and other institution-building initiatives. Technology supporting schools, universities, media facilities, radio broadcasting, information access, and other projects intended to strengthen local capacity and community infrastructure.
REPRESENTATIVE MISSION EXPERIENCE

JPI’s international work has supported programs with very different objectives, but a common requirement: practical technology that works in the field. Representative assignments have included communications, education, media, healthcare, democracy and governance, security, MWR, and humanitarian operations.
Our role can include design, procurement, configuration, integration, installation, testing, troubleshooting, and sustainment across both fixed facilities and field environments.

University FM Radio — Liberia
JPI supported the sourcing of equipment and installation of an FM radio station for a university in Liberia, providing communications infrastructure intended to expand access to information and educational programming.

Hospital Communications — Uganda
JPI provided satellite communications capability for a hospital in Uganda, helping establish dependable connectivity where conventional infrastructure was limited.

NGO Satellite Communications — DRC
JPI provided satellite-based communications support for an NGO operating in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, enabling field connectivity in a challenging operating environment with limited power/electricity.

School Computer Lab — Iraq
In partnership with KOICA, JPI supported the development and installation of a computer laboratory for a school in Iraq, expanding access to technology and digital resources.

Election Monitoring Communications
JPI supported communications and field requirements for International Republican Institute AND National Democratic Institute election-monitoring activities in two countries, helping personnel maintain connectivity during time-sensitive electoral operations. In addition JPI helped install a Television Production Facility for IRI to produce materials for civil society in Iraq. Additionally, JPI provided materiel and personnel for networking support and server infrastructures.

Technology supporting institutions, infrastructure, and long-term recovery.
JPI Worldwide’s international work has also supported programs focused on institutional development, stabilization, reconstruction, public information, border operations, and community recovery. These projects often required JPI to combine technology expertise with field execution, procurement, logistics, training, and coordination with government, development, and local partners.
The objective was not simply to install equipment. In many cases, technology was one component of a broader effort to strengthen local institutions, improve access to information, establish operational capability, or support longer-term economic and social development.
Society, Culture, and stability matters.
To help restore stability to a society that has undergone disaster or disruption, culture fabric has to be repaired and restored.
Marsh Arab Protection & Development — Iraq
JPI supported protection and development activities associated with Marsh Arab communities in Iraq as part of broader international recovery and development efforts.
Television Production Facility — Baghdad
JPI helped develop, design, install, and support a television production facility in Baghdad, contributing technical infrastructure for media and public-information capability.
Securities-Market Development — Iraq
JPI provided technology and implementation support during the early development of an Iraqi securities-market initiative, including design, installation, and initial operational support.
Customs & Border-Control Development
JPI supported customs and border-control development efforts, providing technology and technical assistance intended to strengthen operational capability at national border locations.
Radiological-Material Security
JPI supported efforts to improve security associated with radiological materials, applying technology and technical expertise to a specialized safety and security requirement.
Internet/Broadband Development
JPI has brought internet to underdeveloped areas, delivering highspeed internet reliably to homes, government offices, and businesses. These ISPs have operated in the U.S., Africa, and the Middle East for more than 10 years.
